Learning

The more I learn, the more I feel there's more to learn!
Sometimes, I don't know where to start but I start somewhere. I have always believed that to get anywhere, one must start somewhere. It's always difficult to take the first few steps. There's so much uncertainty, there's so much self-doubt; am I really going to be able to do this but as I brush the specks of doubt away, things become clear. Self-confidence stems from a prior triumph but I wouldn't want to rest on past laurels, there's so much more to do, there's so much more to achieve! I have found the initial enthusiasm for learning anything is far greater than what is sustainable in the period over which I would have to accomplish a task. I feel that one needs that extra bit of enthusiasm to be able to successfully take those difficult first few steps and then one only needs to sustain one's enthusiasm at a level which makes things move in the right direction. As we head out to achieve something big, there are smaller triumphs and failures one must encounter. I don't think I should beat myself up about losing a little enthusiasm if I fail a little unexpectedly. The more important thing is to take a step back, analyze and move on and never to take that same step back. The best thing is that this amazing process of learning never stops and I will only become a bigger, better person as life moves on. Since, there's so much to learn and only one life, I can't waste any time!
